1. Project Objective

Design and implement a menu tablet pilot program for Sauce & Spoon, a restaurant chain seeking to improve order accuracy, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall dining experience.

The project objective was to develop a comprehensive data-driven implementation plan that encompasses the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, as part of the Google Project Management Capstone simulation.

Business Need:

The restaurant’s legacy manual ordering process was causing service delays and errors. The digital menu tablet pilot aimed to modernize front-of-house operations and provide measurable ROI through faster order processing and improved customer satisfaction.

2. Leadership and Responsibilities

As Project Manager, I led the complete lifecycle of the pilot project, applying the PMI framework and Google PM methodologies.

Key leadership contributions:

• Developed the Project Charter, defining the business case, objectives, constraints, and assumptions.
• Created the Scope Statement, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Project Schedule.
• Designed a Stakeholder Engagement Plan, RACI Chart, and Communication Plan for alignment.
